Hey Ashely. Hope you are doing well.

Yesterday's service was awsome. I was blessed in a great way. I am so glad that the staff at James Jones Assembly stay in touch with God like they do. I really hate that I'll be missing tomarrow, but that's life.

So, I never really asked if you had a job or not. I assumed you were primarily workin with chi alpha.(I have never spelled that!) And what led you to go to Louisiana? How long have you been saved? Me, you ask? Well, I have been working at Home Depot for about 3 months. It's a great job. HARD work. I know I have lost about 23 pounds since I started there. Not to count that I have been running and eating right too. The devil really likes to try to make me feel inadequate about myself. Considering most of my life I have been a health freak. The year of 2004 was a backslidden year where I pretty much played PlayStation and watched TV, gaining 30 something pounds. Ansley, my roomate you met, moved in at the beginning of this year. The accountability has sharpened me in a way I could have never done alone.I REALLY praise God for him. That's pretty much been an overview of the last 18 months of my life.

I have been saved for about six years. I would love to tell you my testimony. And hear yours, of course.

You know, you are an answer to prayer. really. That friday night you guys had your Hawaiian thing, my roomate and I were praying. My basic request and desire that night was to have more girls as friends. Seems like all I hang around with is guys. That's good and all but, I wanted to have some of that female flavor sometimes, you know. I went basically for a prayer walk that night. Passing by the chapel I saw some guys just hanging out. I decided to say hi and they invited me to the cafeteria. Well, after many awsome conversations with some great christian people, I was introduced to you. Is that not cool!! Regardless if we become great friends or not, that still shows how God wants to bless us. I know that it's hard to find a girl that loves to witness and has dedicated part of her life to that. The most joyful people on this earth are those who are saved and are INVOLVED with spreading the gospel.

Well, gotta work from 2pm-11 so I look forward to that. Stay in touch, take care and God bless.

Hello Ashely,

I hope you are doing well. Wasn't church awesome yesterday? I'm so glad I got to see you there. It made my day. It's so awesome that I've gotten to know you. I think it's a sign that we should get married. I really hate that I won't be able to see you tomorrow because I will be working so hard, but it is part of the sacrifice I make because I'm responsible. You should definitely look up to me because of that and recognize how great a husband I will be. My family will never starve!

Speaking of jobs, do you have one? Or do you just sit around the house every day? It doesn't matter either way. Once we are married, I'll take care of all the hard work stuff. Yeah, you can have that hobby of working with college students if you want. I'm such a nice guy that I'll let my wife do stuff like that! You won't be able to stay in Louisiana, of course. We'll need to be wherever I am, since I wear the pants, you know!

Yeah, back to me, though. I've been working extremely hard at Lowe's. It's such a sacrifice, but I'd sacrifice anything for my family . . . and especially you. Yeah, I've also been running and eating right. I've lost 23 pounds. I'm in GREAT HEALTH . . . and you KNOW what that means! Anyway, despite all this, I still think I'm fat. So, please, don't break my heart. If you don't marry me, I may fall into a deep depression. It would be all your fault. See, you've got to marry me based on this reason alone if nothing else!

Anyway, though, God sent Ansley to move in with me and help me loose weight. It just so happens that it was right before I met you! Isn't that awesome!!! It must be a sign on things to come! It must be meant to be!!!

I mean, seriously, I prayed that I would have a wife one day, and I met you. How cool is that? I mean, the very night I met you, I prayed that I would meet a girl. And, out of all the girls in the entire world, I met you. I mean, there are girls everywhere, but you actually talked to me! I haven't been out on a date in so long, and I just need some kissin'! I mean, come on! You've got to marry me now! Look at how much these signs just add up! I pray that I meet a girl! You are a girl! I meet you! What are the odds of that happening??? Not only that, but we even have similar life goals!

Anyway, I've got to go now. I have a job and have got to work, you know! That's because, again, I'm responsible. Keep in touch (or else I will!).
