Hey everyone,

I don't have much time but figure I would let you all know what is going on and reassure you that I'm not dead or nothing. I'm doing pretty good. I've been working back and forth at this pizzeria type place and also this burger king place. My broom and I are becoming great friends. I've named the broom at Sbarro (pizza place) Wally and the broom at Burger King is named Murray. They are great pals and are keeping me company up here. I do, however, miss Stan and Howie. I guess they don't know where I am.

For those of you who have no clue, I am visiting family up here in Pennsylvania. My uncle hooked me up with a job considering the fact that I'm broke and all. It is my dream job. I get to sweep floors, take out the trash, and wipe down the tables. The other day I got to paint the downstairs at Burger King and that was real neat.

Today, my grandfather took me to a baseball game. It was real neat. I didn't fall asleep even once. It was a pretty dang breath-taking game a real nail-biter. The final score was 30-0.

I think I'm starting to break out in a rash. I don't think it contagious or nothing. Kenny, you need to mail me some of that Boudreaux's Butt Paste.

Some of you who are still reading may not know who I am or why I'm emailing you. If that is you, chances are we meet in one way or another at RUI and I just added ya to my email address book without telling you first. Welcome.

Today's spotlighted friend of the month is two people. I tried to do them separate but considering that they are twin brothers I figure I would just do em both at the same time. I grew up with Jason and Scott Kern. We've been buddies since first grade. I didn't like them so much in fourth grade cuz they called me fat. In fifth grade I got abducted by aliens and all so that put even more strain on our relationship. They were born on a cold, sunny day in August. Jason was born first and then Scott came on out. In sixth grade, they each created their own country. Scott ruled over the Zeeky-Meeky people and I completely forget the name of Jason's nation. All I know was it didn't stand a chance against the power of Scott and my alliance. When we first started high school I don't recall us liking sports too much. Now we are pretty much sports fanatics. Jason defiantly has the sporting talent in the family, wouldn't you say so Scott? Of course I always choose Scott for my team considering he's better and all. Try figuring that one out. Jason has been married for about a year now. Wait, I mean he's had a girlfriend for about a year now. I'd tell you her name but she might get upset (you can thank me later Alisha. I'm sorry if I spelled your name wrong). Anyway, I have no clue if Scott has a girlfriend. I don't think he does. You can correct me later if I'm wrong. We all went to the same school since first grade and graduated together. We also got jobs at Winn-Dixie and that was real fun. We are all now going to Nicholls State over there in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Scott works in the Dairy Department at Winn-Dixie and is a business major. Jason is also a business major but is a lowly cashier at Winn-Dixie. How are things going at WD fellas? I actually miss it over there. I was getting tired of it, but this wonderful job I have now has changed my perspective on it. If any of you would like any more information on Scott and Jason, you can email them at corvair2001@hotmail.com . They really enjoy getting email from people they don't know so yall should go ahead and tell them hey.

I got another story for ya only this one is sort of halfway true. I got lost in an Amish cornfield the other day. I was driving home from Burger King through Lancaster County the other day. Old Lancaster is the heart of Amish Country. I saw this old Amish Lady and this old Amish Man on this big old Amish Plow being pulled by old Amish Horses. It was pretty dang neat looking. I was laughing and in such awe that I completely missed my turn. A few hours later I figured I was lost. The way I figured it though, I was driving in sort of the same direction that the road I was suppossed to take went so I just kept going.

Shortly thereafter I hit Maine. I called up my uncle and he gave me directions home.

Speaking of my uncle, we went to the park the other day. We went to get ideas so that we could build my cousin Alex a neat little playground type deal in the backyard (which, however, we did with ease). That park was pretty dang fun. First of all, my uncle and I jumped on the swings and that was neat. Trish and Maddie then got on and sort of jumped off. Not to be outdone, I decided to do it too. I was freaking high man. Uncle Rick says that when I hit, the ground sort of shook. I think I was sort of level with the top bar. There were some soccer moms off to the side watching us. We could tell that they were amused at us jumping off yet not wanting there two year old kids to see cuz you know how kids are. After that, Uncle Rick showed me this neat little swing that you run and jump onto and it sort of just swings to one side then swings back. He did it once and looked pretty neat so I figured I'd give it a shot. I ran up and first and realized that with my weight/muscle distribution I wouldn't be able to get a good grip. I then got another one of those harebrained schemes. I yelled out, "Hey, let me try again!" I backed up and ran full speed ahead. I was getting pretty fast. My adrenaline was pumping and sweat was pouring out. I got within distance of the swing and jumped. I then tried with all my might to grab hold of the handle and fly across the park. The ground shook again. My uncle thinks I'm clumsy.

I also rolled down a hill. That darn soccer mom didn't see me coming.

Your friend,

Josh
